Bonjour,
Suite à une alerte virus (avast!) en téléchargeant un morceau de musique, je n'arrive pas à effectuer une restauration système avec un point antérieur à cet événement (sous Vista). Dans la panique j'ai fermé tout les onglets sans même lire quoi que ce soit. Le téléchargement a-t-il continué malgré que internet était fermé?!! Un ami m'a certifié que lors du téléchargement avast qui a détecté le fichier infecté l'a directement supprimé et que le virus n'est pas dans l'ordi. Est-ce juste? Si je n'arrive pas à effectuer la restauration (j'ai un message comme quoi il y a eu un problème indéterminé lors de la restauration) à un point antérieur est-ce dû au virus?(si j'effectue une restau manuelle avec point de restauration maintenant ça joue!) Bonjour, d'après ce rapport tu utilises Norton et Avast, en même temps ? Si oui ça fait deux antivirus, et un de trop.
Tu peux désinstaller Avast, dans un premier temps.

En fait, Norton était fourni à l'achat de l'ordi. J'ai supprimé tout ce qui comportait le nom de Norton,symantec etc... Dans le panneau de config dans désinstaller programme, je n'ai plus ien qui correspond à Norton!!! Comment faire pour me débarrasser de ce qui reste??? Et pour la restau et le virus qu'est-ce t'en penses?

Ok, dans ce cas il faut supprimer les reste de LiveUpdate, qu servent à mettre à jour les fichiers de Norton.

Voici un outil, édité par symantec (officiel donc) qui le fera pour toi :

NB : il supprime tous les produits Norton.

Avast, honnêtement, n'est pas une bonne pioche désormais.
Il vaudrait mieux passer par Antivir, bien plus performant. On en reparle après le nettoyage si tu veux.

LiveUpdate est encore là, mais sur Vista SP1, rien ne m'étonne tu sais.

Le message au lancement de HijackThis n'est pas grave, un verrouillage de la part du système qui bloque.

Est-ce que dans ajout/suppression de programmes tu as une entrée "LiveUpdate" ou "Symantec Live update", quelque chose d'approchant ?

Cette fois ça a l'air ok!!
Reste à désinstaller Avast et installer Antivir.
Et pour le doute par rapport au virus, je fais un sacn avec Antivir?

Exit Norton. Ok, remplace Avast par Antivir, et demande un scan complet par Antivir (après l'avoir mis à jour), tu peux le faire depuis l'interface principale ("scan system now", à côté de "last complete system scan"). Un rapport (report) pourra être sauvegardé pour être posté.

Avant de démarrer, sache que ce scan complet peut durer un moment, selon le nombre de fichiers sur ton disque dur, je préfère prévenir. Si Antivir trouve des éléments, dis-lui de les placer en quarantaine ("quarantine files"), à la première détection, tu peux automatiser l'opération pour qu'il le fasse à chaque fois par la suite.

Au fait, c'est après plusieurs essais de restauration que ça s'est nettoyé pas besoin de les fixer. Va y comprendre quelque chose, l'informatique restera toujours un mystère pour moi!! J'installerais Antivir demain. Je te remercie beaucoup pour ton aide et te souhaite une bonne nuit....
