How can I create a new e-mail account with Windows for Thunderbird ?

Start Thunderbird

The first time you use this program, the Account Assistant opens automatically

On the first screen, "New Account Setup", select "Email account"

On the "Identity" screen, type in your first name and surname
In the "E-mail Address" field, type in your full Bluewin e-mail address

Enter the following information:

Incoming server type: POP
Incoming mail server: pop.bluewin.ch
Outgoing mail server: smtpauth.bluewin.ch

Enter your e-mail address without @bluewin.ch into the "Incoming User Name" and "Outgoing (SMTP) User Name" fields

In the Summary section you can verify your information again
If all the information is correct, click "Finish" to save
